Position Description : The Team Leader will be located in Ankara and work closely with ÇASGEM staff. The Team leader will be responsible for overall project coordination and quality control of project implementation. S/he will work with the other key-experts and no-key experts, bringing together international and national expertise with specific sector expertise and knowledge of the situation in Turkey. The team leader will:
- Ensure the overall management of the projectand liaise with the beneficiary and the Contracting Authority,
- Manage the experts of the Technical Assistant Team and ensure the TAT complies with all the procedural and contractual obligations of this Contract
- Ensure the timely delivering of the project inputs,
- Establish the work plan and scheduling of the different project components,
- Ensure the overall monitoring of the project and the required quality of the deliveries,
- Elaborating the required progress reports and define measurable indicators for the subsequent programme monitoring and evaluation,
- Participate in the projects monitoring meetings and in other meetings organised for the monitoring or the promotion of the projects when required,
- Be available for the whole period of the contract and will reside in the city during the project,
Qualifications And Skills : - University degree in social political or administrative sciences (In the absence of the required degree, the expert will have at least 15 years of professional experience).
- Post-graduate (Master's and/or PhD)degrees on one of the above mentioned fields will be an asset.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
General Professional Experience : At least 10 years professional working experience and experience in at least one project with a minimum duration of 1 year, as team leader and/or project manager and/or other managerial positions(in the consultant side)
Specific Professional Experience : - At least 5 years of experience in the field of social policy or labour relations or working life area.
- Experience in designing, implementation and evaluation of trainings in the field of employment or lobour relations or socail policy
- Experience on Turkish labour market will be an asset
