Position Description : The expert is proposed to mainly carry out the following (non-exhaustive list) activities:
- Ensures the overall management of the project and liaises with the Beneficiary and the Contracting authority,
- Manages the experts of the Technical Assistant Team and ensures that TAT complies with all the procedural and contractual obligations of this contract,
- Ensures the timely delivery of the project outputs,
- Prepares the work plans and schedules different project components,
- Ensures the required quality of the deliveries and the overall monitoring of the project,
- Elaborates the required progress reports and defines measurable indicators for the subsequent programme monitoring and evaluation,
- Manages the procurement procedures,
- Coordinates the preparation of the inception, interim and progress reports,
- Provide support to all documents, analysis, researches to be carried out within the scope of the project,
- Participates in the project monitoring meetings and other meetings organized for the monitoring or the promotion of the project when required,
- Assigns short term experts, drafts their mission letters and plans the budget for their tasks.
 
Qualifications And Skills : - Bachelor’s degree in education, administrative sciences, social sciences, communication, social policy, or equivalent; in the absence of a formal degree in the above-mentioned fields, minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the fields of education sector,
- Excellent command of oral and written English,
- Full computer literacy.
 
General Professional Experience : - Preferably 10 years but a minimum 7 years of experience in project management; Preferably 4 years but a minimum 2 years of experience in project(s) in the field of education.
 
Specific Professional Experience : - Preferably 7 years but a minimum 5 years of experience in education sector,
- Preferably 3 years but a minimum 1 year of experience as Team Leader and/or managerial position (in Contractor side) in implementation project(s).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in primary or secondary education will be an asset.
