Position Description : Outline of tasks:

It is intended that under the supervision of Key Expert 3 (KE-3), Junior Non-Key Training Expert on English Course (English course will be given at basic level (A (breakthrough) level at Europass language passport) will design, develop and deliver the training programme on the mentioned topic in close cooperation with the senior training expert.


680 training participants trained in Basic English (A (breakthrough) level at Europass language passport) (three -days training (18 lectures, each lecture in 50 minutes, in 34 sessions with 20 participants per session)
1. Workshop presentation for identification of training sub-topics and content on the above mentioned topic
2. Two Workshop reports
3. Easy readable draft training modules/ booklet with visual features and trainers’ documents (training curriculum, lesson plan, case study, role-play, group work worksheet etc. assessment methods, criteria, questionnaires and evaluation form, etc.)
4. All training documents and material (trainees’ booklet and presentation slides on the topics)
5. One mission/ assessment report per session
Qualifications And Skills : • University graduated from the English Teaching, English or American Culture and Literature, English Translation and Interpretation departments of the reputable universities or proven experience as an English teacher (with formation or equivalent degree or experience in relevant subjects
• Native level of Turkish and a good command of English
• Excellent reporting skills
• Full computer literacy
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment
• Prior undertaking of similar assignments will be considered as an asset.
General Professional Experience : At least 3 years of professional working experience in the field of the assignment.
Specific Professional Experience : • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in English teaching and learning methodology etc.
• Deep knowledge and experience in English teaching
• Experience in preparing easy readable trainees booklet
• Experience in designing training materials (i.e. presentations, evaluation forms, etc.)
• Experience in the implementation and evaluation of training programs
• Proven experience in leading learning groups and in adult training approach
• It will be an asset if the Junior NKE has:
o Experience in conducting and leading workshops for training needs assessment
o Experience in designing and developing training programmes (description of the program, training curriculum, lesson plan, trainer’s guideline, etc.)
o Proven experience in working in the EU or other international donors funded projects in Turkey or in the region
o Previous experience working with social partners in Turkey (trade union or employers’ organisations)
