Position Description : Outline of tasks:

It is intended that under the supervision of Key Expert 3 (KE-3), the Senior Adaptability and Industrial Relations Training NKE will design, develop and deliver the training programme on the above mentioned subject in close cooperation with the senior training expert.

Outputs:

680 participants were trained in Adaptability and Industrial Relations (one-day training (six lectures, each lecture in 50 minutes) on Adaptability and Industrial Relations in 34 sessions with 20 participants per session)

1. Workshop presentation for identification of training sub-topics and content on Adaptability and Industrial Relations (covering the topics of gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and social dialog)
2. Two Workshop reports
3. Draft training modules/ booklet with visual features and trainers’ documents (training curriculum, lesson plan, case study, role play, group work worksheet etc. assessment methods, criteria’ questionnaires and evaluation form, etc.)
4. All training documents and materials (trainees’ booklet and presentation slides on the topics)
5. One mission/assessment report per session
 
Qualifications And Skills : • University degree in law, labour economics, economics, educational sciences, political sciences, sociology, industrial engineering, or equivalent degree or experience in relevant subjects
• Native level of Turkish and a good command of English
• Excellent reporting skills
• Full computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment
• Prior undertaking of similar assignments will be considered as an asset.
 
General Professional Experience : At least 5 years of professional working experience in the field of the assignment and/or in the area of human resources development.
 
Specific Professional Experience : • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in relevant areas like labour market training, social projects, capacity building, etc.
• Deep knowledge and experience in Adaptability and Industrial Relations (covering the topics of gender mainstreaming, social inclusion, and social dialog)
• Experience in preparing easy readable trainees booklet
• Experience in designing training materials (i.e. presentations, evaluation forms, etc.)
• Experience in the implementation and evaluation of training programs
• Proven experience in leading learning groups and in adult training approach
• It will be an asset if the Senior NKE has:
o Experience in conducting and leading training needs assessment workshops
o Experience in designing and developing training programmes (description of the program, training curriculum, lesson plan, trainer’s guideline, etc.)
o Proven experience in working in the EU or other international donors funded projects in Turkey or in the region
o Previous experience in working with social partners in Turkey (especially trade unions or employers’ organisations.)
