Position Description : Outline of tasks:

It is intended that under the supervision of Key Expert 3 (KE-3), the senior training NKE will design, develop and deliver the training programme on the above mentioned 10 training topics in close cooperation with the 12 senior field training experts.

Outputs:

680 training participants trained on 12 advanced training topics in 34 sessions with 20 participants per session.

1. The list of topics and workshop presentation for identification of training sub-topics and content on 12 advanced training programme
2. Conducting and moderating two workshops
3. Two workshop reports
4. Easy readable draft training modules/ booklet with visual features and trainers’ guide (training curriculum, lesson plan, case study, role play, group work worksheet etc. assessment methods, criteria, questionnaires and evaluation form, etc.)
 
Qualifications And Skills : • University degree in law, labour economics, economics, educational sciences, political sciences, sociology, industrial engineering, or equivalent degree or experience in relevant subjects
• Native level of Turkish and a good command of English
• Excellent reporting skills
• Full computer literacy
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment
• Prior undertaking of similar assignments will be considered as an asset.
 
General Professional Experience : At least 5 years of professional working experience in the field of the assignment, (designing training program, instructional designing) especially in the area of human resources development.
 
Specific Professional Experience : • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in relevant areas like labour market training, instructional designing, social projects, capacity building, etc.
• Experience in conducting training needs assessment (TNA)
• Experience in conducting and leading workshops
• Practical experience in development and implementation of training programs and provision of consultancy support
• Practical experience in designing and developing training programmes as an instructional designer (i.e. description of the program, training curriculum, lesson plan, assessment methods and criteria, trainer’s guideline, etc.) and training materials with visual features (i.e. trainee’s booklet and presentations, evaluation forms etc.)
• Prior experience in the implementation and evaluation of training programs
• Proven experience in leading learning groups and in adult training approach
• It will be an asset if the Senior NKE has:
o Proven experience in working in the EU or other international donors funded projects in Turkey or in the region
o Previous experience working with social partners in Turkey (trade union or employers’ organisations
