Position Description : Under the supervision of the Team Leader (TL), the Junior Local Coordinator (Istanbul) is intended to be assigned for the following duties:
• building close contacts with the potential target groups in order to determine suitable trainees for several activities
• ensuring the selection of the trainees in a transparent fashion in accordance with the terms of reference
• making logistics plans locally to ensure the high participation level of the target groups
• supporting the training expert in the provision of support for training at the local level
• liaising with HAK-İŞ and MÜSİAD at the local level in and carrying out all administrative duties
• assisting the Team Leader in all aspects during the project implementation


Expected Results
• Proper selection of the trainees
• 1,800 employees and 200 employers or employers’ representatives totalling 2,000 participants in 3 cities to be trained in Labour Life Skills training (one-day training covering 100 participants in 20 sessions)

Key Deliverables (including Reporting)
• List of participants by gender prior to the training activities in provinces;
• Attendance sheet of 2,000 participants
• Feedback sheet of 2,000 participants
• Attendance and feedback sheets collected and transferred into the computer, session by session
• One mission/ assessment report per session
Qualifications And Skills : • Advanced university education, at least Bachelor’s degree
• Computer literate (Windows Office tools, Internet)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team and in a multicultural environment
• Excellent reporting skills
• Native in Turkish and a good command of English
• Prior undertaking of similar assignments will be considered as an asset
General Professional Experience : Minimum 3 years of proven experience in relevant areas, especially in social projects involving communication and capacity building skills
Specific Professional Experience : • Minimum 3 years, of proven experience in relevant areas, especially in social projects involving communication and capacity building skills
• Extensive experience in communicating with the private sector
• Experience in providing logistics support during the implementation phase of the Project
• Work experience in any trade union confederation or employer organization is an asset.
• Strong coordination skills
• Regional working experience in the EU-funded projects is an asset.
